Relaxation
Alike the sitting practice prepares the body for the gestures of the life, the elongate relaxation allows the body to learn to relax... It prepares it to observe quite simply and to act in an appropriate manner. The gesture is no longer a passive carelessness, or a reaction-opposition, but an attentive participation, discreet.
The RELAXED-ATTENTION allows to SEE what IS, the action is evident with this SIGHT, there is no mean to do otherwise. The judgment has no place in this opening, this welcome. The body acts naturally, spontaneously, with Gentleness that the event which occurs is pleasant or unpleasant... The action in this relaxed-attention frees the knots and does not seize...
The ATTENTIVE-RELAXATION also prepares the body to become a welcoming space for the Dignity, and to be penetrated by the Heaven, to find back the Original Unity.
Relaxation simple :
" Lying comfortably on the back; pay attention to the draughts.
We become conscious of our body, quickly from head to the feet. Then we say "heavy !". The entire body will instantly become heavy; it will rely on the ground. Needless to say, "I feel heavy." "I am" is too much; you are still trying to involve the mind! So "heavy" is enough and you will complete this work of immediate relaxation in going through the different parts of your body and to tell it "heavy !". First the feet, then the legs then the pelvis, then the torso, then the neck and the head. "

Relaxation continuation :
The relaxation presented here is the transcript of a recording of Christian. It is composed of a first phase that leads the body to a deep state of relaxation, preparing it for the second phase : a work on the bones....
First phase...
...deep relaxation of the body
"So lying on your back and first say "Heavy" to yourself, not "I am heavy", "I" is too much... "Heavy"... We give the order of heaviness to the body and we wait for it to happen quietly...
We do not start until to have this heaviness...
...And when this heaviness is there, we turn the head on the left, and we focus on the left cheekbone... it fills, becomes heavier and at the same time the right cheekbone becomes more and more empty, we take our time... and then when it is done.... we pass quietly on the right side and, there, same attention to the right cheekbone until it becomes heavy and full and that the left becomes empty and light...
...When it is done... we come back quietly to the left and we pay attention to the left side of the upper lip: it swells... and we take our time... and when it is done, we go to the right and we pay attention to the upper lip... and we go on the left and the attention is on the lower lip with the chin... until it becomes heavy, and filled... and the other side…
...And we come back to the left and we pay attention to the eye in our orbit, which becomes heavy and the whole area around becomes heavy at the same time with the forehead and you do the same thing on the other side on the right.... that the eye is really heavy, rests in the orbit... you come back to the left and now it is all the left side that is heavy... and you do the same thing right side...
...And we come back in the middle and we notice that the two sides of the face are not balanced then, by tiny micro-movements on the right and on the left, very small, we try to balance... and at some point, there is the ventral breathing which will start spontaneously without any muscular effort... and all the work with the face, it is for this result : to obtain a spontaneous effortless ventral breathing...
...also when someone is well trained it is not worth going to the end for this belly breathing starts, as soon as it starts, we stop the movements of the face and we stay with this other dimension and the ventral breathing...
...And when the ventral breathing is settled, we feel the inspiration swelling, and at the expiration there is all this energy which rises in the torso and goes progressively to the face all alone, without any muscular effort and no imaginary effort... and we gradually feel that the face swells at the expiration and it deflates at the inspiration of the belly... and we continue until this perception is very clear, very neat, this is a normal, usual state, the belly swells and when it deflates, it pushes the energy in the body... and there, mainly in the torso and the face, because we are concentrated there... and the energy goes where the attention is...
...and that's when everything is normal, that we will make a voluntary energy act, i.e. we will decide that at the moment of the inspiration it is not the belly which swells, it is the face... so this is the face which inflates and deflates, the will is capable of directing the energy, it is from there that the relaxation goes outside the normal yogi movement, wellness of the body, in fact, all the relaxations which are normal body movements... there, it is a non-ordinary act, we decide otherwise...
...and at the inspiration, it is the face which swells, we have no longer the consciousness of the belly, and at the expiration, this is the face which deflates and while deflating, the face sends the energy in the body, first, it sends in the neck and we feel it coming down and at the inspiration, curiously, we notice that this is the face and the neck which inflate... the neck which has been touched by the energy of the expiration... and this is thus that at the following expiration, the energy goes even further, in the neck, touches the shoulders... and at the following breath, that's all the face, the neck and the part of the shoulders touched which swell, and at the expiration, the energy continues to rise from the shoulders and continues in the torso, and it is like that from inspiration to inspiration, the whole body will breathe... then the torso to the pubic area, then the legs and then to finish with the arms, so at the beginning we can make one leg and then the other, one arm and then the other and in the end, that is done globally...
...And when it's done, to control, we turn the head to the left and if it is right, the whole left side is full and the right side is completely empty... if it's not right, we will do it again, the attention where it seems there is a problem...
...and right side...
...To return we first take an expiration longer than the inspiration to find back an ordinary body awareness...
...And when it's done the limbs are gently stretched, the legs, the arms, and then the body...
...And we will open the eyes and move gently...
This is the first step of the relax, and for many people, it is the only step "

The first phase is to well set up before starting the second so that the attention is maintained during the whole time of relaxation...
The second phase :
"It is a slow, meticulous work that in itself could almost take an hour or at least ½ hour... that's why as it takes a lot of time to work on the bones (the second phase), it is necessary to regularly make the first phase of the relaxation, this first phase which is enough to many people, to be able to make it fast, to be really, really completely relaxed, not only the imagination, but completely to then have time for the second phase which is much more meticulous, precise, and makes a much more profound action... so if someone trains well, that he has coded his body, we can have done the first phase in 10 minutes, 1/4 hour, and then after we have 3/4 hour, 1 hour maximum for the 2nd phase. I say 1 hour max because it is difficult to keep a serious attention over 3/4 hour...
...and in the 1st phase, we must also be very careful... then we could say 1/2h for the 2nd phase... and if someone must use almost one hour for the 1st phase, there's nothing really at the 2nd, no serious attention... "
Christian
...work on the bones...
The second phase is always done after the first phase. It is a precise work on the bones : to mobilize them to release the hindered negative energy that prevents the fluidity. It is possible to mobilize all the bones of the skeleton. Here are 2 ways to do this second phase....
Second phase... (1)
"The second step is a work on the bones. In this relax, again the head well aligned with the body, we breathe in more time that we breathe out... gently... progressively we will feel ourselves like an inflated or inflatable doll... and we no longer perceive the muscles, the organs inside... it's as if everything is water... a liquid, and in this liquid the bones float, it is not the imaginary, it is a reality of the sensation, of the perception... and we breathe in gently until we have enough space in the body so that the entire skeleton is free from all coercion, from all tendon, from all muscle...
...it is from there that we will work the bones, we can do all the bones, but we start with the knees... the knees, this is the direction for the life... so we take the left knee with our simple will, with no muscular movement, we move the bones of the kneecap, of the knee and we release the energy that is there, it's always negative energy which blocks... we take our time... we perceive how the knee becomes free and that there is something not nice there that goes away, not from the bone, but from the joint between the bones...
...and when it's done, we do the same thing at the right knee...
...then we rise along the femur and we do the same thing with the joint of the femur and the right hip... it releases energy that is blocked in the joint... sometimes we may well perceive the energy, a black liquid, something not nice that leaves the body, the joint and goes on the ground...
...If at some point we need more space, we increase the inspiration so that the bones on which we work, have always a lot of freedom around...
...now we do the same thing to the left hip, the best way is to go back to the left knee, to check that everything is fine and we go up to the femur...
...And now we go to the coccyx and try to move gently the small bones, we take more inspiration, if we lack of space and we climb gently towards the sacrum up to the start of the spine... at least the start of the first real vertebra because by doing so, we can perceive that the coccyx is a continuity... and when we arrive to the first vertebra we work on the joint and the second... and we go up quietly to the nape of the neck, vertebra after vertebra... it's a lot of work because there is a lot of negative energy which blocks in the interstices between the vertebrae of the spine... it's a slow, meticulous work, that in itself could almost take an hour or at least ½ h ...
...And there, when we begin the spine, even if it is to go rather fast, we must finish up to the nape of the neck... until we touch the cranial bones, even if it's rather fast, we must finish it....
It is clear that some parts of the back will react more like the rear heart for example… the kidneys... but do not try to make something complete, perfect because everything is always in movement... maybe the space that we will release there will be filled very quickly with new negative energies, because the sight is not correct, the look is not correct, the word is not correct, the attitude is not correct and we produce like that continuously energy which blocks... so to look for the perfection this is ridiculous, because that would be to believe that we have finished once and for all, but we have never finished...
...when we reach the nape of the neck there today, we decide to stop...
...So we begin by taking an expiration longer than the inspiration to find again an ordinary awareness of our body...
...And when it's done the limbs are gently stretched, the legs, the arms, and then the body... and we open your eyes and move gently... "
Christian
Second phase... (2)
"So, when the first part of the relaxation is complete, that the voids and the fulls are perfect, on the 2 sides.... we breathe in gently... in fact, we breathe in more, gently, than we breathe out, the expiration will happen by itself, we do not take care of it...
...there is volume which settles in the body... and when that volume is there, we perceive that it is all liquid inside and we perceive only the bones, the skeleton floating...
...then, first, we work with the pelvic bones, because we have done before the legs and previously we may have made the arms, that are the first steps... and then after, it is the pelvis...
...So, we go straight to the pelvis... and we open the joints at the level of the sacrum and then we open quietly up to the coccyx and up to the start of the vertebrae of the spine... and then, we open each joint between the vertebrae of the spine... starting from the bottom up to the nape of the neck... and when we reach the nape of the neck, we go on the clavicles… on the joints of the clavicles…
...And we go quietly at the level of the sternum and we move the sternum as we would take a bone between the 2 hands and that we triturate it a little to soften it, and we perceive that there is a fault in the middle, and that we can articulate this fault and open it... and to fully open the ribs... to fully open the chest and there, we can perceive, there are many things which go away too, out of the rib cage.
...and then we slowly returns to the nape of the neck and we begin with the back of the skull, the skull is filled with bones, we first take the middle part of the nape of the neck up to the forehead, and we disjoint quietly the bones, the attention is like two hands playing with each bone and opening the joints...
...when it is done, we favour the expiration to return to a more ordinary consciousness.... and we move quietly the limbs while stretching us gently... "
